Reformation Sunday invites all of us to continually strive to do the will of Jesus Christ in our daily lives and in our church communities.

Join us this Sunday for a Festival Worship with Metro DC Synod (ELCA) Bishop Phil Hirsch preaching. He will also be leading an adult forum during the Sunday School Hour.

Watch for activity! After years of wear, storm damage, and patchwork fixes, our flat roof is no longer protecting our congregation and ministries. But there’s good news! We’ve put down payments to start work not only on replacing the flat roof, but also on replacing the aging HVAC units on that roof. Watch for cranes, roofers, and HVAC techs in the upcoming weeks as they repair and replace this vital infrastructure.

Worship will continue, uninterrupted each Sunday at 10:00 am in the Sanctuary.

Once a month, members of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church's Youth Group (grades 6-12), along with a few adult volunteers, gather at Mama’s Laundromat in Leesburg to pay for customers’ laundry. We also provide laundry detergent pods, snacks, drinks, etc.

For many of us, having clean clothes is something we rarely think about. For others, however, the cost of doing laundry can be a significant financial burden. Through this ministry, we hope to ease that burden while sharing God’s love through simple acts of kindness.

Over $2800 of laundry loads have been covered since February 2026.

Update!!! We will worship in the glass door-holy grounds area!!!!

After sniffing around Mr Beans says- your paws will get wet but no rain now- so bring your pets and join us outside at 10am. You can sit on the sidewalk area if you prefer dry feet.

10/03/2026

Mr Beans is watching the weather for tomorrow Oct 4. He is hoping to receive a blessing at our Outdoor Worship/ Blessing of the animals at 10am but he sees there is a 50% chance of rain so he will make a decision by 8am tomorrow morning whether worship will be held outside or inside. If worship is inside tomorrow we ask you to kindly leave your animals at home for worship (bring a picture). You are welcome to bring them by for an in person blessing between end of worship and 11:30am. Thank you.

Outdoor worship with Blessing of the Animals! Sunday, October 4, at 10:00 am
Join us on as we enjoy worship outside and celebrate the animals who bring joy to our lives. Pets are invited to attend worship which will include a special blessing of the animals!

On this Sunday, The Christian Church commemorates St. Francis of Assisi. Francis had a deep love of nature and animals. Although he was born into a wealthy family in Italy, he embraced a life of poverty, simplicity and service to God. He believed that all creation reflected God’s goodness and that humans should take care of it with humility and gratitude.

(In the event of inclement weather, the service will be held inside, and the Blessing of Animals will take place outside following worship. Watch social media for weather updates!)
