It’s easy to get consumed by what’s happening right here, right now. But prayer lifts our eyes. It reminds us that our purpose is bigger than our current circumstances and that God is actively working in us, even in broken situations.

When we shift our focus from our immediate problems to His presence, our perspective shifts, too.
