This was sent to Paul Backs regarding Susan’s award ceremony on Fort Leavenworth. The ceremony time is still being decided. He will give us further information.

Thank you for the additional information. We are honored to recognize Susan’s extraordinary career and service to Army Medicine.

Based on the expected number of guests, we have reserved the Frontier Chapel sanctuary at 625 Thomas Ave to accommodate family, friends, and community members attending the ceremony. The chapel provides ample seating, accessibility, and gathering space before and after the presentation.

We will also provide cake and tea following the ceremony to allow time for visiting and photographs.


Regarding installation access, guests may use the online temporary pass process below to help streamline entry onto Fort Leavenworth and potentially avoid delays at the Visitor Control Center: https://home.army.mil/leavenworth/about/visitor-information/gate-information or call (913)-684-3600 with questions.

Once the time is finalized, we will send a simple map and additional arrival instructions for guests.

Information on how to get onto Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Includes the Visitor Control Center (VCC), proper identification needed and operating hours of the gates.

Roberta Ettinger is asking for prayers for her daughter, Denise and Denise’s boyfriend Danny Morgan. Danny is in Providence Hospital. They are doing tests on him. Roberta said he’s not doing well.
If we can get all the Pilgrims praying for them.
