What a wonderful and glorious day we have to celebrate today! Jesus has risen and has defeated both sin and death.....not because of anything we did, but only through what He did. The completed work of Jesus Christ, on the cross and in the grave, gives us the one and only assured hope we have of putting our past behind us and enjoying the newness of life with God that He promises when we place our faith in what Jesus accomplished. Celebrating the most consequential and the most sacrificial act of love that has ever occurred or will ever occur. Today we honor Jesus' perfect sacrifice on behalf of each one of us. Freely giving Himself up, He satisfied the price of all of our sins - past, present, and future - once and for all. If you've never responded to His free offer of forgiveness and newness of life......today is the day!.

What a great day we had last week at the 3rd Leavenworth Community Job Fair! We welcomed 15 employers, seven community resource partners, and 57 job seekers.

We saw five (5) job seekers receive job offers at the fair, 55 interviews conducted or scheduled, and a great day of interaction amongst everyone who came down to join us.

Special thanks to Susie and Sally at the Heritage Center for being such great hosts and for city commissioner Holly Pittman, Police Chief Pat Kitchens, and our great friend Jermaine Wilson for coming out and joining us!

We love serving our city and look forward to more opportunities in the future!

With the snow and ice making the roads pretty dangerous today, we're going to cancel tonight's Bible study. Stay home and stay safe. We'll still be holding our (new) Tuesday morning and Wednesday evening Bibles studies this week at the food court in Prince Chopper. Have a blessed day and stay safe!
