Corpus Christi is a community of over 1400 families who make up the Catholic church in the western part of Lawrence, KS. Our community gathering is the Sunday celebration of the Eucharist. It is this gathering each week that makes sense of all that we do as a community, and all that we do as individuals the rest of the week. From an empty closet to a beautiful music library!

We are incredibly grateful to Eagle Scout candidate and CCCS alum, Sean Doll, for choosing the Corpus Christi Music Ministry for his Eagle Scout project. Sean planned, built, and installed these wonderful new music shelves – with plenty of teamwork and hard work along the way!

A very special thank you to everyone who donated to and supported Sean’s project. Your generosity helped make this possible and has given our Music Ministry a much needed, organized home for our music library. Congratulations and thank you, Sean, for sharing your time, talent, leadership, and craftsmanship with Corpus Christi!

Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Today is the Assumption of Mary, who was taken body and soul into heavenly glory. In Mary, we see the promise of the resurrection and the hope that awaits all who faithfully follow Christ. As our spiritual mother, Mary continually leads us closer to her son. Join us for Mass this morning at 9:00 a.m.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us and guide us always to Jesus.

Congratulations to Fr. Mike Stubbs!

Join us in celebrating Fr. Mike Stubbs as he marks 48 years of priesthood.

Fr. Mike was ordained on July 22, 1978, and continues to be a faithful and cherished presence in our parish community. We are grateful for his many years of devoted service to the Church and his continued ministry among us.

Walking With Purpose is returning to Corpus this fall! Registration is open for our 9 week scripture study for "Beholding His Glory", which starts September 16. You may choose between the 10:00 a.m. or 6:00 p.m. sessions held each week on Wednesdays.
