A free Fraud Prevention Workshop will be held Thursday, September 24, from 4 to 5 p.m. at 3300 N. Buffalo Drive in Las Vegas. The workshop will help community members learn how to recognize scams, protect personal information, and reduce their risk of fraud.
The class will be taught by William “Bill” Voy, a former Clark County District Court judge who now serves with the Southern Nevada Senior Law Program, a nonprofit organization providing free legal services to people age 60 and older.
The workshop is part of the Lone Mountain Stake Emergency Preparedness Series and is free and open to everyone. A virtual option is also available.
See the flyer for information about joining virtually.
