The Basilica of Saint Mary of the Assumption

The Basilica of Saint Mary of the Assumption St. Mary of the Assumption is a Latin Catholic parish founded in 1818/1819 in Lancaster, Ohio. We are the second oldest Catholic parish in Ohio.

Our parish began elementary education in 1847 and a high school course of study in 1891. Parish Office Hours:
Monday - Friday: 8am - 4:30pm

The Lord’s Day Masses:
Saturday evening, 4:30pm (rosary at 4 pm)
Sunday: 8:30 am and 10:30 am

Daily Mass:
Monday - Thursday: 7 am
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 9 am

Confession - Sacrament of Mercy
Saturday, 3-4 pm
Or by appointment
