❤️ **Heart & Hope: Stories of Hope** What gives you hope?
That was the question we explored during our latest Heart & Hope gathering at Shepherd of the Hills. We listened to three people from different generations share where they find hope in their own lives.
Matthew Rummans, beginning his senior year of high school, shared about the pressures of school, college, and the future—and reminded us to notice the joy in the small things: a morning birdsong, a cool breeze, a sunrise, or a mountain waiting to be climbed.
David Gallardo shared a story of finding hope during some of the lowest moments of his life. Through divorce, financial struggles, and uncertainty, he began looking beyond what was going wrong and imagining what might go right. That hope eventually led to new love, a new career, a growing family, wonderful experiences, and finally a sense of home at Shepherd of the Hills.
Ted and Grace Cannon reminded us that hope stretches across generations. Ted reflected on the hopes and prayers his parents had for him when he first started school—and how those hopes unfolded over the course of his life. Grace shared a deeply personal story of hope, faith, perseverance, and the people who helped their family along the way.
**Three stories. Three generations. Three very different journeys.**
And yet, they shared a common thread: **hope rarely comes to us alone.** Hope comes through people who listen, encourage, support, pray, and simply show up.
💚 What is giving you hope right now?

💚 How might you nurture hope in someone else's life?
We don't have to carry hope alone.
