Don't forget...we are volunteering with After Hours this Sunday at 11am. The Carkeek family are providing all the bagged lunches and waters for our homeless friends, and we will have lunch for you in the van. See you Sunday at 11am for some volunteer fun!

NO ice skating this Sunday...we want to ice skate outside and it's been too warm so we need to wait until Evergreen lake freezes enough. We will be building gingerbread houses instead! Please bring a few dollars for the cost of the gingerbread house. There will be a prize for who can build the best house!! See you this Sunday at church from 11:30am-1pm. :)

Friends! This Sunday at Youth Group we will be CARVING PUMPKINS! Get excited. Bring your friends. Bring $5 for the cost of a pumpkin OR just bring a pumpkin. 11:30am-1pm like always. Bailee's mom is providing lunch!

AVUMC Youth!

Church is the mysterious and powerful force that brings us all together and creates unlikely friendships. These bonds that are formed from people who would otherwise not interact is one of my favorite aspects of the Body of Christ.

If you participated in AVUMC's Life Groups this last Lenten Season you can testify that it was a success! We are relaunching NEW Life Groups that will kick of Sunday, September 11th! If you want to participate a Life Group, please come Sunday and fill out the sign up sheet.

Let's get to know some people in the church that don't look like we do and have wisdom to share. It's going to be incredible. :)

As the email you all got said, please be at church at 9:40 so we can have a walk through for the palm walk with the kiddos. We will be part of the service!!! And Tomorrow at youth group we help the Easter Bunny stuff the eggs. We will also be getting the "all about me" posters done for display.
