Renew soul, mind and body at Lake Junaluska, celebrating more than 100 years of ministry!

Join us each summer for a spiritual formation event including experiential worship, engaging speakers and music, optional service projects, workshops on a variety of topics, and free time opportunities that take advantage of the beautiful North Carolina mountains. Our winter events, Ski Lake Junaluska, include a daily worship concert, speaker, and communion on the last morning with skiing during the day.

As we wrap up an incredible season of youth events at Lake Junaluska, we’re reflecting on the joy, faith and friendships that have filled these past few weeks. It’s been an honor to host hundreds of young people from across the region, witnessing their faith grow and their bonds strengthen.

A warm and gracious thank you to everyone who attended and helped out with our 2024 Winter Youth Retreats!❄ We can still feel the energy at Lake Junaluska from all of the fun, laughter, fellowship and worship that filled Shackford Hall and beyond as groups explored our beautiful mountains, whether to ski, snow tube, help organize a food pantry, assist with a stream cleanup or split, stack and deliver firewood to those in need We hope to see you again next year!

What a great first Winter Youth Retreat of 2024!❄ We had music, missions and ministry. Thank you JaCynthia Bailey and the Jimmy Atkins Band. It was an inspiring weekend on all accounts and we're so grateful to have shared it with these youth and their leaders. And we got a foot of snow at Cataloochee Ski Area after everyone left! God is good.✝️

We are excited to share that our speaker for the Encounter Winter Youth Retreat coming up Jan. 12-15 will be JaCynthia "JC" Bailey. Founder of In*Touch Retreats, she loves empowering youth, women and marriages through the hope of Christ, and we look forward to a moving and meaningful weekend for all who are able to join us at Lake Junaluska for the retreat.🤩 You can read more about her at https://bit.ly/LJwinteryouth. Our previously scheduled speaker for that weekend, D'Andre Ash, is not able to be with us due to unforeseen circumstances. We look forward to welcoming him back in the future!
