A brand-new sermon series called “BROKEN – The Story of the Book of Judges”. First Church of God in LaGrange, Indiana.
This series will look at the patterns and leaders during the time of the Judges of Israel.

It is a unique book showing us the brokenness of man. It gives us a picture of humanity as a blind man groping in the darkness for something to hold on to.

The beauty of this tragic story is that it shows God reaching into our brokenness, coming to our rescue, and giving us hope.

Each lesson will trace the cry of the Hebrew heart, the rise of a God-given leader, and a lesson that translates to all generations.

The Book of Judges speaks to our present time better than any other book in the Bible.

Join us as we ride with the likes of Gideon, Sampson, Shamgar, Ehud, and so many others. Each story is strange, twisted, and weird, but it prepares us to walk in the light no matter how great the darkness.

This Sunday, August 30, is Law Enforcement Appreciation Sunday at First Church of God in LaGrange, Indiana. TWO GREAT SERVICES AT 9:00 AM AND 10:30 AM.

We will be honoring all our law enforcement officers in our community for their service and courage.

Three members of local law enforcement will be speaking and sharing valuable insights with us, helping us know how to pray for those who put their lives on the line every day. Join us as we honor those who serve and protect.

This Sunday, August 23rd, is the 6th and final message in the "Weird Series," called "The Witch at Endor - A Desperate King and a Forbidden Door." First Church of God, LaGrange, Indiana. TWO GREAT SERVICES AT 9:00 AM AND 10:30 AM.

There are things out there. Things that go "bump in the middle of the night," things that call to you from shadows. Thoughts, desires, voices that say, "Come, take a closer look; dabble just a little."

But God has warned us in His word that such things come with a cost.

This Sunday we study a man who opened a forbidden door. His life serves as a cautionary tale for all who ignore the will of God and seek to manipulate the world to bring about their own will.

Witchcraft sounds like a pointy hat and a broomstick, but it is much more insidious than that and much more common than you would think. This Sunday, Jesus shows us how to break the power of witchcraft and find true freedom.

This Sunday, August 16th, is the 5th message in the "Weird Series," called "The Five Kings." First Church of God, LaGrange, Indiana. TWO GREAT SERVICES AT 9:00 AM AND 10:30 AM.

In this message, we will talk about Joshua chapter 10 and the day the sun stood still.

This story has it all – an epic battle with five pagan kings, huge deadly hailstones that fall from the sky, and God stopping the rotation of the earth for a day because Joshua asked Him to.

This is one of the great stories of the Old Testament that also carries a shocking message for our day, that includes giants and grasshoppers. WHAT?????

Yep, this is a crazy one, and you won’t want to miss it. Make sure you’re there and invite a friend.
