Pastor Dana Stonebraker joined the Mt. Zion family in September 2022. A Midwesterner by birth, she grew up in Davison, Michigan. Before becoming a pastor, Dana worked in the field of engineering, but in 2016 she felt God’s call to ministry and began her studies at Luther Seminary in St. She was ordained as a pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America in October 2022. Dana is married to Ben, and together they make their home in Kendallville. Pastor Dana has two grown daughters, and she delights in spending time with them. In their free time, Dana and Ben enjoy making music together, reading, cooking, and tending to creative hobbies. Ben is also an avid gardener and fisherman. At the heart of Dana’s ministry is a passion for sharing God’s love and building a community of welcome and inclusion. It is her prayer that Mt. Paul’s will continue to grow in the Spirit’s grace and love.
