A recap from Praise & Prayer service —we went back to the heart of what Jesus says matters most.

When Jesus was asked which commandment was the greatest, His answer was simple: Love God with all that you are, and love your neighbor as yourself.

Before we can truly love people well, our hearts must first be centered on our love for God. Our love for others should flow out of our love for Him. And our “neighbor” isn’t limited to the people who look like us, think like us, or are easy for us to love—it includes the people God places in our path every day.

That leaves us with some important questions: Are we loving God with all of our heart? Are we loving our neighbors the way He has commanded us to? And how can we better show Christ’s love to the community around us?

One of the most practical ways we can love people is simply to serve them.

This is the heart behind our church vision:

Love God.
Love People.
Serve Others.
