Join us Friday, July 3rd for our 11th Annual Celebrate Freedom Fireworks Event in LaGrange, GA!

🕖 Gates Open at 7:00 PM
🎟 Free Admission until full
🌭 Food Trucks available for everyone
🪑 Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy a fabulous fireworks display as we celebrate Freedom in Christ and Freedom in America.

This year marks 250 Years of Freedom — and that’s something worth celebrating!

This week’s challenge: stop carrying what God never asked you to carry.

When worry rises, pause and pray before you panic. Trust God with your future, your family, your finances, and your fears. One day at a time. One step of faith at a time.

“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” – 1 Peter 5:7

What are you carrying that God never intended for you to hold onto?
Week 2 of The Weight We Carry took us through Matthew 6:25-34 and reminded us that worry may feel heavy, but our Heavenly Father sees, cares, and provides. Anxiety doesn’t have to control your life when your trust is placed in Him.

Jesus reminds us not to worry about tomorrow, but to seek Him first and trust Him with every need. Freedom begins when we stop carrying what only God can handle.

Join us this Sunday at Callaway Baptist as we continue The Weight We Carry series and discover how to walk lighter and live fully in Christ.

Are you carrying the weight of others’ expectations, pain from your past, or the burden of sin?

“Is there something in your suitcase you shouldn’t be carrying?” — Pastor Brad Thompson

Week One of The Weight We Carry challenged us to take an honest look at the things weighing us down and keeping us from fully walking in freedom through Christ.

The truth is, most people may never fully understand the load you carry… but Jesus does. He sees the hurt, the pressure, the regret, and the exhaustion. Life can be hard and messy, but Jesus didn’t call us to live overwhelmed and defeated. He said He came so we could have abundant life.

Some of us are carrying things we were never meant to hold onto. It’s time to surrender the weight, trust Him fully, and walk lighter in His grace and freedom.
