Lafayette Community Church

Lafayette Community Church We use live rock bands and video clips to make Sundays the best day of the week for both you and your kids! We want to do the same for you too.

We are a community committed to providing spiritual, practical, and emotional support to each other so that we can all identify and successfully take our next steps in life. See, that’s what Jesus said his family should be like, and we follow Jesus without shame. We call ourselves Christians because we believe that Jesus is the model for life and we passionately point everyone we meet to the truth

of Jesus. Specifically, we are profoundly impacted by a simple statement Jesus himself spoke:

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. — John 10:10

Part of Jesus’ mission was to give “full life” to his followers, and we believe we should be doing the same. That’s why, our mission statement is this:

We exist to help people follow Jesus.

These three really showed up for serving our community this past Saturday and we are so proud of them! They served complimentary hot chocolate to viewers of Polar Express at the Long Center downtown.

Community is our middle name, folks! How can you serve?

Good morning! If you can’t make it to service online but still want to watch, we always livestream on YouTube, as well!

This week, Pastor Leo encouraged us all to sit still with God and reflect on how we can bear the light to those around us. Have you thought of someone around you who you can share the love of Christ with?

Don't feel obligated to share, but we'd love to hear about it!

We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Pastor Leo will be kicking off a new series, Meaningful Christmas, in the mor...

Last week, in John 5 we read the story of Jesus healing a man who had been paralyzed for 38 years. Maybe you're dealing with a situation that feels like it will never end, but be encouraged that no situation is too late for God to intervene.
