After talking with some folks from different sides of the county, we've decided to CLOSE CHURCH this morning. If it were all done snowing we would press on, but it's supposed to keep snowing well into the afternoon.

Please stay home and enjoy a rest day.

Hello Elston Family,

Out of caution, we will not have Sunday School tomorrow.

Worship practice will be at 9:00 am and church will start at 10:00 am.

If you do not feel safe leaving home then please join us on Youtube.

Also, the Sheep class (1st-5th grade) will stay in the sanctuary to hear about the mission trip and the Lambs (babies/toddlers) and Yearlings (pre k-kindergarten) will have class like normal.

Last day update. The day started off pretty rainy. John and Kara had a friend visit them in their cottage. After breakfast we headed to the sandbox community and inviting the kids to join in with a Christmas gift party. An organization puts it on and distributes gifts to communities. Several kids showed up. The Word is taught in a fun way. Abby was able to assist.
We returned to base for a quick lunch then took off on our 5 hr bus ride back to San Jose were we are staying in an Airbnb tonight so we are close to the airport tomorrow. Relaxing tonight and having some nice quality time. Prayers for safe travels tomorrow.

Another great day of sharing the word with a local community. Showing them love, food, and activities. It’s great to see everyone working together to show them love.

After lunch we were able to explore Cora Rica a bit. Josh took us to a beautiful waterfall. After that we were able to do a little shopping.
After dinner we had some share time about our week and worship together.
Seems so strange that tomorrow is our official last day.
