Today we celebrate Juneteenth, a day that honors freedom, resilience, and the unbreakable spirit of Black Americans. As we commemorate June 19, 1865, when enslaved people in Galveston finally learned of their emancipation, we're reminded of God's promise that all people are created in His image and deserving of dignity and freedom. Let us continue the work of justice, love, and reconciliation in our communities.
