True influence isn't built on visibility, authority, or status. It is built in the choices we make to bring light into dim spaces and offer grace when it would be easier to hoard our time and resources.

Every interaction (no matter how brief!) leaves a footprint. Let's stop viewing our lives as vessels to fill and start viewing them as channels to pour out!

How are you using the influence God has entrusted to you this week?

A conversation may be brief, an act of encouragement may seem small, a faithful decision may feel unnoticed. But God can use all of it.

It is remarkably easy to let our perception of God be shaped by human broken relationships. Yet scriptural grace repeatedly points back to a Father whose default posture toward His children is affection, not disappointment.

The gospel does not invite us to perform our way into God's affection. It invites us into relationship with a Father who calls us his children. His love is not something we achieve through perfect obedience. His grace is not exhausted by our failures. His kindness is not reserved for the moments when we feel spiritually successful.

You are loved by God. Really loved.

May we become people who don't simply talk about God's love, but learn to live from it.

Growth is not always about doing more.

Sometimes it begins with recognizing that something which once served a purpose has quietly become a limitation.

As followers of Christ, we are continually being formed. We are not called to preserve yesterday's version of ourselves simply because it has become familiar or comfortable.

God's invitation is always toward greater freedom, deeper maturity, and a more fully formed life.

That is worth paying attention to. Because what feels safe isn't always where we are meant to remain.

This week, our World Methodist Evangelism Prayer & Fasting community is turning our hearts toward the Wesleyan Methodist Church of Aotearoa New Zealand (WMCANZ).

Formed in 2000, WMCANZ has grown into a vibrant network of 30+ multicultural congregations dedicated to seeing lives, churches, and communities overflow with the grace and holiness of Jesus.

One of the things we love most about their story is their vision for a multi-ethnic church family. Their congregations bring together people from different cultures, languages, and backgrounds, and they believe multicultural New Zealand will be most effectively reached through multicultural mission.

From local outreach projects to pioneering new church plants, God is moving across the islands!

In 1787, Richard Allen and fellow Black believers were told to move seats mid-prayer because of the color of their skin. Instead of abandoning their faith, they walked out of that segregated church in Philadelphia and eventually formed the African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church, the first independent Black Protestant denomination in the United States.

This week, our World Methodist Evangelism Prayer & Fasting community is lifting up the AME Church in prayer.

World Methodist Evangelism has a longstanding relationship with the African Methodist Episcopal Church. We are grateful for Bishop Erica D. Crawford – Presiding Prelate of the Eighth Episcopal District of the AME Church – who serves on the WME Board of Directors; for Rev. Dr. Marcellus Norris – Executive Director of the Department of Church Growth and Development of the AME Church – who is part of our FLAME community, and has taught with our team in the United States and Cuba; and for Rev. Dr. Bianca Canley-Mays – Director of Communications for the Office of the Treasurer of the AME Church – who we are privileged to have as part of our team as well.

As followers of Jesus, our primary calling in evangelism and mission is to see every single person as an image-bearer of God, deeply loved by Him.

The ground is level at the foot of the cross. The difference isn't that some need grace more than others, it's just that some sins are easier to hide.

Who is God nudging you to see differently today? No one is beyond the reach of grace.

Holiness can sound like an intimidating word.

But the biblical vision is surprisingly practical: a life increasingly shaped by the character of God.

Not just Sunday.
Not just church activities.
Not just the “spiritual” parts of life.

All of it.

The way we speak.
The way we treat people.
The way we respond under pressure.
The choices we make when nobody is watching.

God calls ordinary people to live radically different lives.

What would change if we actually believed that?
