This week our staff had class with our Stitches of Blessings ladies in San Juan and worked in getting quilting kits gathered and shipped for all the classes that we have in different parts of the Country. Ministry continues year-round to God’s glory.

We wanted to share a little of what is happening in Guatemala.
A few days ago prisoners started riots in at least 3 different jails. On Sunday the authorities went in and took control iOS the situation resulting in various retaliations from gangs. Throughout the city in different red zones there were attacks against the police where a total of 7 were killed and others injured.
Because of these acts the president called for a state of emergency. As we mourn for the innocent lives lost we do praise God that in the lake area we are not experiencing anything out of the ordinary. Please join us in prayer for peace in our country and that the church can be light during this time.
and wisdom for any decisions we may need to take.

In addition we ask that you pray for our executive team to make any decisions needed in the next few days.

Pastor Luis' surgery went well but the damage was more extensive than the surgeon thought so it took longer and the incision had to be bigger. The doctors said Pastor Luis' pain would be high today so they are keeping him to help manage the pain and will review things tomorrow. Pastor Luis is to be on complete bed rest for at least 2-3 weeks and will need to sleep in a recliner. Please continue to lift Pastor Luis and Dinora in your prayers.

We ask you to join us in praying for Pastor Luis, who will be undergoing surgery tomorrow morning. Recently, Pastor Luis experienced a fall that resulted in the tearing of two tendons in his shoulder. The injuries are significant, with one tendon torn at 67% and the other at 65%. His doctor has advised that he should anticipate a recovery period of approximately three months, during which he will be unable to engage in his regular activities. Please pray specifically for
• A successful surgery and that the procedure goes smoothly.
• Complete healing and restoration of his shoulder.
• Strength and encouragement for both Pastor Luis and Dinora as they navigate the recovery period.
Your prayers and support mean a great deal as Pastor Luis faces this challenge.
