You're invited every day to take up your cross and follow the Spirit. What choice will you make?

Matthew 16:24
"Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me."

Whether you're waiting tables or working in ministry, you can honor God with your life.

A lot of people think you need to have an incredibly high calling in order to make changes for the Kingdom. You ALREADY ARE CALLED because of who your Father is!

Don't wait for a job opportunity to qualify you; you are qualified and called by the blood of Christ to live in a way that makes God known. Go share His goodness!

Everyone loves glory and God's favor, but what about the testing of your faith?

It's not about IF you face trials, but WHEN you face trials! When we're invited into the life and ministry of Jesus, we're also invited into his suffering and persecution. A life with Jesus was never promised to be easy, but it IS BETTER!

We have hope when we face these tests and trials because we know they are for our good. The pressure refines us, strips away what is keeping us from growing, deepens our dependence on God, and brings us closer to Him. Face these trials with JOY and HOPE, knowing in the end it is for the glory of God's Kingdom. 🙌🏾

James 1:2-4
"Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."

The local church has the ability to reach others with the love of Christ, but YOU need to be the messenger!

It's about saving souls and leading people to Christ. If the seats are filled but souls aren't saved, we have a problem. Go share the good news. Testify of the Lord's goodness in your life. Listen before you judge others. We lead with love just as Christ does with us. 💙

How will you help grow the church?

What you feed your spirit matters. Just like an athlete prepares their body for a race, you need to prepare yourself for the race set before you in the spirit. 🙏🏾

Feast on the Word of God. Drink from the living water, which is the person of Jesus. Devote yourself to time in the powerful, life-changing presence of God. Submit yourself to the Holy Spirit, allowing him to teach, convict, and guide you in the way set before you.

How will you feed your spirit this week?

Jesus is the same YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER! The miracles He has done now, five years ago, and in the future are ALL worthy of sharing and testifying about! 🙌🏾

1 Chronicles 16:8
"Oh give thanks to the Lord; call upon his name; make known his deeds among the peoples!"

Your failure is NOT GREATER THAN GOD'S PLANS FOR YOUR LIFE! 🙌🏾

The ways you've made mistakes and fallen short don't disqualify you from the plans the Lord has for you. He knows EVERYTHING you'll ever do, including the mistakes and mishaps. BUT HE CAN USE THEM FOR GOOD!

There is no limit on what God can do. There is no limit on who or what He can use.

Stop focusing on your mistakes. Stop rehearsing your shame. REPENT, GET UP, AND FOLLOW JESUS!
