Day 5- our last full day in Canada! Please pray for our travel today (Friday) and smooth border crossings as we drive from Hamilton Toronto to Buffalo and then fly to DC!

Today we prepared bags of food for some families that participate in the ESL program. We then bought more food to help complete the bags. We traveled back to Expedition Church in Burlington that is run out of a bike shop and assisted with their soccer watch party. They really enjoyed the Mexico vs South Africa game since most are Hispanic! We enjoyed authentic Mexican snacks and helped with clean up. We also enjoyed learning more about this ministry and taking part in a neighborhood soccer game with the kids. We scored some goals!!

In our free time we explored a local Farmers Market and were encouraged by divine appointments with people!

Day 4- we have training most mornings, but afterwards spent time with a representative from the International Mission B...

Day 4- we have training most mornings, but afterwards spent time with a representative from the International Mission Board, who escorted us to a Buddhist Temple. We were also able to talk to the monk. Our day continued with walking through a large park and passing out tracks and interacting with people. We also fed a homeless area that has a very high percentage of drug addicts. In the evening we accompanied their ESL class to a semi professional soccer game.

Day 3- Other than a small break for rain, we were pretty busy today working at a home for women who are recovering from s*x trafficking. Pictures are limited due to the confidentiality in place, but the house and property were beautiful! The house was over 100 years old. We also made a Walmart run to purchase food stuffs for the community and for the Ministry Center to serve meals! The generosity of our members and the blessings from the Lord make this possible!

Day 1 of mission trip. Hamilton Canada and Burlington Canada.
Church was held in a bike shop that refurbishes free bikes and gives them to people to use for transportation. They also run a cafe that offers one free meal a day to the community. We walked around the neighborhood passing out flyers to their soccer watch party community outreach.

Day 2- We walked around the community to witness to folks and pass out snacks, hygiene kits, and information about the church and recovery program. Met a lot of people struggling with fentanyl addiction. No pictures to share due to respect for their privacy. We spent time talking with them, listening to their stories. We ate dinner overlooking Lake Ontario .
