All are welcome at the table as today is a communion day.

At Evangelical Lutheran churches, everyone has a seat — at the Communion table and in the community. It doesn't matter where you've been, what you believe right now, or how long it's been since you've set foot in a church. Our doors (and hearts, and minds) are open to you.

From the gospel of Luke 18

6-8 Then the Master said, “Do you hear what that judge, corrupt as he is, is saying? So what makes you think God won’t step in and work justice for his chosen people, who continue to cry out for help? Won’t he stick up for them? I assure you, he will. He will not drag his feet. But how much of that kind of persistent faith will the Son of Man find on the earth when he returns?”

Our service begins at 9:30 a.m. followed by fellowship in Hope Hall. As always we invite everyone in to celebrate the word of the lord.

Yesterday we had the privilege of having Bishop Lee Miller II attend and participate in our service. We were honored to hear his sermon with
his energy. So many conversations at church and lunch. Most of us were probably thinking what did we do wrong as the Bishop is coming! Well come to find out we are doing things right and have the Bishops support. Thank you Bishop Miller II. Can’t wait til your next visit!

Today we tell the story of Naaman who had a skin disease. He went to Israel to see if he could be healed? What was he told? Does he get healed, and if so how?

Today we welcome our Bishop to our Bishop. Come and meet and greet our Bishop and introduce yourself. Our doors are open to everyone. Our services start at 9:30 a.m. followed by fellowship in Hope Hall. Hope to see you there.

This Sunday, we continue our study of the Epistles to Timothy.
The writer compliments Timothy's faith: "and what a rich faith it is, handed down from your grandmother Lois to your mother Eunice, and now to you!"
This seems a particularly appropriate text as this week we will celebrate the baptism of a tiny person whose grandmother and mother were both raised in this church. We celebrate the faith passed down from one generation to another.

We are blessed to have a baptism Sunday. Our service starts at 9:30 am followed by fellowship and CAKE! Everyone is welcome. Hope to see you there.

If you haven’t been to church in a while, that’s okay. We understand. With the changes and challenges we’ve been facing in the past half-dozen years, we all have needed to take time to process and reevaluate.

While we understand, we also invite you to reconnect, rekindle your relationships and get involved.

Chances are things are different than when you were last at church. Pastors have changed appointments, ministries have evolved or shifted their focus, and the community might have grown. Get curious about the new things God is doing and how God might be calling you to take part.

All Christians are vital to the faith community. As Paul says in Romans, chapter 12, “In the same way, though there are many of us, we are one body in Christ, and individually we belong to each other.”

Community nourishes faith
The Evangelical Lutheran Church is a safe space to be your authentic self, the unique and beautiful individual that God created you to be. You can ask challenging questions and wrestle with difficult decisions. You can thrive in a community where everyone is trying to figure out their purpose and live as faithful disciples of Christ.
