This Sunday, September 13, Trinity will be having a day of service - so dress for work! We will start with a 20 minute service with a blessing and then several opportunities for the community:

-Friend, Inc.: We will be helping stock shelves and doing general organization as they move to their new location!

-Lutheran Centre: Dan Raudenbush will be leading a team at the LC with yard work and other general upkeep so students have the best housing at KU!

-Unhoused hygiene kits & blankets: Debbie Ziegler will be leading a group in the Fellowship Hall to create hygiene kits & knotted blankets for the unhoused.

The Worship Life Team has invited the Barnstormers to Trinity in September. They are a male choral group from the northeast and three of Trinity’s members sing with the chorus: Mike Barron, Rev. Richard Miller, and Bruce Rohrbach!

On Friday, September 18, we would like to invite the congregation to join us in the multi-purpose room from 7:00-8:00 p.m. for entertainment and light refreshments. Jon Bond will share slides of artwork, the Kempton countryside, and PA Dutch heritage and traditions. Bill Meck, a PA Dutch humorist, will follow Jon’s
presentation.

Saturday, September 19, at 7:30 there will be a free concert in Trinity’s sanctuary featuring the Barnstormers. *We will be looking for volunteers to provide homemade baked goods for the dinner being served to the chorus before the concert. A sign up sheet will be placed on the office door.

Sunday, September 20 they will share their vocal talents with us as part of the 9:30 worship service. We may be in need of volunteers to assist with various housekeeping tasks such as moving chairs.

Vicar Seth is on vacation today through September 16th. Please contact the church office if you are in need of assistance.

Pastor Keith Rohrbach is on call through September 9th, and Pastor Dennis Ritter is on call September 10th through the 16th.

Pastor Allison deForest will be presiding on Sunday, September 6th. September 13th is God's Work, Our Hands Sunday, which will consist of a short service led by laypeople, followed by community service projects.

Today, the Northeastern Pennsylvania Synod will be celebrating the conclusion of the Reverend Christopher deForest's term as Bishop. Prior to serving as Bishop, Reverend deForest served as Pastor of Trinity. We express our utmost gratitude for his term as Bishop for the past six years and for serving as our pastor for two years before that. Bishop deForest, we wish you all the best!!

Our planned Service in the Park and picnic scheduled for tomorrow, August 16, is being moved to Trinity due to potential inclement weather. Please note worship will still begin at 10am despite the change in venue. The picnic will be held in the Fellowship Hall after the worship service.

THIS SATURDAY AT THE KUTZTOWN KRUIZZ! Trinity will be handing out FREE hot dogs (while supplies last!) and possibly ice cream* as part of our ongoing 150th Anniversary Celebration! We will be stationed outside Bishop deForest's house (227 E Main St).

*Trinity has purchased a new ice cream machine that we're hoping to have up and running by the weekend.
