Edie said, Glenda's surgery went well. She is going to be moved to her room shortly for a 1 or 2 night stay. Please continue to keep her in your prayers for a speedy and uncomplicated recovery.

Today we had a trial run of a cooking club we may start for our Youth. There were supposed to be 5 but with the short notice (apples don't ripen on a schedule) only 2 were able to make it Emmett and Harlow. They picked and processed a half bushel of the churches apples. All the apple sauce, minus the 2 cups they took home, will be frozen for the food pantry. They also have a gallon of fresh apple juice to share with their classmates before church tomorrow. They were surprised how much sweeter the apples got after cooking and that we didn't have to add sugar. Both performed every task to complete the job. I am so very proud of them!
