Helping Hands is a faithful partner with KARM, one of Concord’s local ministry partners. This year, Helping Hands, KidzConnect, & CCS are partnering together to collect adult socks for the guests at KARM. Their goal is to collect 1,000 pairs!

🧦The collection bin will be at the Missions Mobilization Center beginning this Sunday, October 13th, through October 27th.

Feeling lots of emotion tonight after an overwhelming response from the people of this community today during our collection at First Baptist Concord. We have filled a 20ft enclosed trailer and a good bit of a semi parked onsite. We will be there again tomorrow from 9:00a-2:00p. Check the list in the comments for what we’re collecting. We’re also receiving monetary donations at the attached link, 100% of which is going straight to victims in East TN and Western NC.

As the impact of Hurricane Helene becomes clear, the Concord Disaster Relief team is preparing to help in relief efforts.

Here’s how you can be a part:

1. Pray.
Join us in praying for those in the path of the storm who have been impacted. Pray for supernatural protection of life. Pray for first responders. Pray for those providing physical help in the recovery process.

2. Give.
This is very dangerous storm and damage is widespread locally and along the gulf coast. If you’d like to provide financial assistance for the team responding from Concord, you can give via this link: fbcc.info/relief

3. Go.
If you are a trained DR volunteer, please consider responding to help those in need.
