Revelation isn't vindictive, it's hope for the oppressed! Written to persecuted Christians facing death, this book shows that Jesus, the slaughtered Lamb, still reigns and that evil won't last forever. Context is everything when reading Scripture! It's amazing to think about all the ways God has worked throughout historyβ€”and the same God is still at work today.

πŸ“– "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." β€” Hebrews 13:8

No matter what chaos surrounds us, God is STILL on the throne! The dragon, the beast, the empire - they have NO real power over you. Jesus is still worthy, and God is faithful! Check out this week's full sermon on Revelation 4-5 here https://youtu.be/j3uHJfAyNTM

When we look at the world around us, it's easy to feel overwhelmed by uncertainty, suffering, and the headlines of the day.

But Revelation reminds us of a deeper reality:

God is on the throne.

That means evil doesn't get the final word.
Fear doesn't get the final word.
Death doesn't get the final word.

The God who reigns over heaven and earth has the final wordβ€”and that is good news.

As we continue our journey through Revelation, may we find peace not in our circumstances, but in the One who sits on the throne.

πŸ“– "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come." β€” Revelation 4:8

One of the most powerful truths from this past Sunday is that Jesus is among His churches.

In Revelation 2–3, Jesus speaks to seven different churches. He knows their strengths. He knows their struggles. He sees what others miss. And because He loves them, He calls them to remain faithful.

The same is true today.

Jesus isn't distant from His church. He's present. He knows our victories, our challenges, and the condition of our hearts.

πŸ“– "Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches." β€” Revelation 3:22

As you go through your week, take a moment to ask:

What might Jesus be saying to me today?

When Jesus speaks, we need to LISTEN! In Revelation 2-3, it's almost all red letter - meaning Jesus is speaking directly to His churches. This isn't just recorded words; these are actual LETTERS Jesus wrote! The Expert has entered the room. Check out this week's service on YouTube or listen to the sermon wherever you get your podcast.

Revelation is actually ENCOURAGEMENT, not intimidation! Written to churches facing life-threatening pressure to conform, this book shows us how to be disciples who follow the way of the Lamb even in a hostile world. What a gift!
