Christ Church Knoxville "Gone Fishing" We are devoted to reflecting, applying and extending the grace of God in our community, in our city and to the ends of the earth.

Our greatest joy is putting the glory of Jesus Christ as highest in our lives. We are family focused and community driven. We have contemporary worship and spirit filled prayer. We would love for you to get to know our church better!

“…this was a land unknown to them, today was drawn on a map of time by God’s own hand. My very modest words were already recorded, and His hand has been ready ever since to hold your hopes and catch your tears. No matter where you came into this church, at the outpost, the village, or upon the sea, this was your church… you made gardens on a ship and a village on the sea. You magnified and enthroned. So, brothers and sisters, today is not just a departure, it is also an arrival. While we do not know what lies beyond the shore, where we will each make our home or for how long, we can say, “well done.” We can say, “this is finished” and yet, there is much left to do.” ⁣

Near the end of 2023, Christ Church closed its doors to consider a future hope of continuing our fellowship at Legacy Church Knoxville. For years Christ Church has been faithful to worship God, love others, and publish the gospel in our city and beyond. It is with hopeful anticipation we walk into a new season and look to a similar church with familiar rhythms - Legacy Church Knoxville. Although things have changed, a time has come and gone, it is the same Jesus, it is the same gospel, and He will always build His church!

So thankful for Pastor Andy's reminder of God's goodness towards us from his sermon on Sunday! We all face anxiety in life, whether it feels big or small. The truth that we stand on, however, is that God is preparing us to weather any storm that we face, not because of our own strength but by His grace and mercy. What a wonderful Gospel truth we have this week as we fight against anxiety and remember the promises of Jesus! We are praying for the members of CCK, the families in Knoxville and around the world that this truth would resonate in your hearts today!

How was your week this week, church? Whether it was stressful or simple, busy or calm, difficult or easy, remember what the Lord calls us to do: "In everything let your requests be made known to God." There may not be a switch to flip in your life to change your circumstances but we do have a faithful Father who hears you and knows! Run to Christ this week in all that you do and He will answer you! Be blessed Christ Church!

Take 60 seconds today and thank God in prayer for His goodness. The scriptures ring true no matter what our personal or global circumstances are: His love and faithfulness endure forever! Let's start our days praising God and rejoicing in our great hope that we have in Jesus Christ!

Thanks so much to Rob Butler for preaching yesterday at our Sunday worship service. What a great reminder of who we are in Christ and the hope we have because of His sacrifice! We were glad to see so many of you in person and online as we had time to worship together in song and in the Word. We hope that Rob's message has carried you into your week as 2 Corinthians 5 reminds us that we have been reconciled to God and we are now ministers of that same reconciliation to the world around us. Thank you Jesus for our new life because of Your grace!

Ladies of CCK, join us this Sunday evening as we continue to learn what it means to love the Lord with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength. This month, we'll hear a powerful testimony of how the Word has affected one woman's life, and we too can submit our will to His astonishing, all-sufficient Word.

We meet from 6-8 pm at 3611 Kingston Pike in Knoxville. We'd love for you to join us!

We are so thankful for the Lord blessing us with 12 new baptisms this past Sunday! We want to give praise to God for each of these testimonies of faith because they are all evidence of His faithfulness and goodness! We were glad so many were able to join us on Easter as we baptized these young ones. Please continue to pray for these brothers and sisters in Christ that they would grow and deepen in their knowledge and love of God. We hope this would spur on more conversations about faith and lead to others hearing about the goodness of Jesus too. Praise God!
