Great and Heavenly Father,

We thank you for September and how it allows us to savor summer's end while preparing us for the coming of autumn.

As we move towards the end of 2025, we ask for your hand in and on the ministry of Feeding God's Children.

Guide us with Your wisdom in our planning and help us arouse more hearts to join in our initiatives in Guatemala, Appalachia, and Knoxville.

Be it through prayer, financial support, volunteering, or combinations of all three, help us keep this ministry reaching so many people in need.

To You Lord, be the Glory!

🎉 Volunteers Needed for the Mooreland Heights Elementary School Back-to-School Bash! 🎉

MHES is excited to kick off the new school year with their annual Back-to-School Bash Night, and we need help to make it a success!

A fun-filled evening is being planned with inflatables, games, and other activities, and extra hands are needed to monitor stations, support families, and help everything run smoothly.

📍 Where: MHES, Knoxville (Mooreland Heights Elementary School)
🕓 When: Tuesday, August 5th | 4:00 – 6:00 PM
👐 Volunteer Roles Include:

Supervising inflatables

Assisting at activity and game stations

Welcoming and guiding families

General event support

Whether you can help for the whole event or just part of it, every bit of support is appreciated!

💛 Come be a part of a joyful evening as we celebrate the start of a new school year!

Heavenly Father, Your love is extravagant!!
Your friendship…so intimate!
You displayed Your love by giving us Your Son to shed His blood for our sins!
Truly, His passion was to reconcile us to You.
His example of surrender reminds me of the extent
that I should go to surrender to Your will…
Help me to grasp the depth of Your love that is beyond my comprehension.
When I struggle to give of myself, remind me of Your selfless example.
Transform my heart into one that gives freely for the sake of Your Kingdom.
Let the power of Jesus’s cross inspire me to love as You love, without reservation.
In that same way…help the team of Feeding God’s Children surrender our will to Yours to accomplish Your Kingdom coming to earth through us.
