HOMECOMING! 🙌🏻🎉
A special day of worship with music from "Walk By Faith," our friends (and family) from the Youth Praise Band of Wintergreen OFWBC in Greenville who returned againthis year to share their gifts with us!❤️
We made two memorial dedications this morning. The Sound Room was named in honor of Kendall Hill and the Seekers Sunday School room was named in honor of Jimmy Hill. We had the joy of sharing this dedication with their families, our Sound Team, and Members of the Sunday School class.
The food was delicious, the fellowship was amazing and it was a joy to be in the House of the Lord together! ❤️

One blessing of living in a small community is seeing our churches come together to care for our neighbors! ❤️

We want to say a special THANK YOU to Airy Grove Christian Church,
Grainger Baptist Church, and Hugo Free Will Baptist Church for their very generous financial support of Sharon Church’s Bookbag Buddies ministry this year!

Through this ecumenical partnership, we are continuing to help provide food for children at Contentnea-Savannah School who may be facing food insecurity at home.

Different congregations, working together with a common purpose… sharing the Love of Christ, answering the call to serve, and caring for the children of our community.

We are grateful for your generosity.... your partnership...and your heart for serving others! ❤️

Our friends at Contentnea Savannah School are preparing for a Parent Night Open House with a Trick-or-Treat theme, and they would appreciate our help with…

CANDY DONATIONS!🍭🍬

On October 22nd, parents and families will have the opportunity to meet with teachers and discuss how children can meet and exceed their goals in the classroom this school year.
Your candy donations help make it a fun, informal evening
that children AND families will enjoy!

If you can donate a bag of individually wrapped, store-bought candy for this event, please drop off your donations at the church or leave them in the designated area near the altar on Sunday, October 18th.
Candy will be delivered to Contentnea on Monday, October 19th.

Our Worship today led us beside the still waters with Psalm 23 and through a small portion of Paul's letter to the church at Philippi from Philippians 4:1-9.
After church, one of our friends reminded us of this sweet song and we share it with you with love.🩷

Today in Children's Church, our kids learned that "Jesus is so sweet!" 🍭🍂
They created their favorite candy with Play-Doh, sang worship songs, danced and laughed together.
We are thankful for a happy Sunday together....learning about the sweetness of Jesus’s love! 🍁🧡
