Say hello to Roberta! ❤️

Truthfully, it’s hard to know where to begin because Roberta is a little bit of everything around Sharon Church!

She serves faithfully on our One Board, leads as Chairperson of the Vallie Odham Circle, and keeps our church looking its best as our custodian extraordinaire.
You’ll find her in weekly Worship, Sunday School, Bible Study, the kitchen, helping with events, cleaning up after gatherings, organizing and keeping up with countless things that need doing around the our building AND at the "old church."
Need a volunteer for...well...anything? Roberta is always there with her hand in the air! ❤️

Roberta is one of the happiest, most loving people you’ll ever meet. She’s always ready with a kind word, an encouraging smile, a warm hug, or all three if that’s what you need that day! And one VERY important note...she makes the best carrot cake in the land! 🥕🍰

Come meet Roberta if you haven’t already! You’ll find her right in the middle of whatever is happening around Sharon Church.
AND...if you’ve ever wondered how to get connected, where to serve, or what ministry might be a good fit for you, she’s a wonderful person to ask. Chances are she’ll point you in the right direction, welcome you with a smile, and probably put you to work before the day is over! 😂❤️

📖 Bible Study Updates 📖

• Our Monday Morning Bible Study gathered for their final meeting until September. We have enjoyed a wonderful season of study, fellowship, and conversation together! Be on the lookout for more information as we prepare to resume in the fall.

• Wednesday Night Bible Study will not meet this week as Shep is away. The study will resume on Wednesday, June 10th at 6:30 PM.

🌟 Servant Spotlight 🌟
This week, our Servant Spotlight is a little different.

On Memorial Day, we pause to give thanks for the men and women who served our nation and gave their lives in service to others.

We also remember those loved ones whose lives helped shape our own. Our parents, grandparents, friends, neighbors, and faithful saints who taught us what it means to love and follow Christ, and to love and serve one another.

Today, we give thanks for those whose sacrifices made a difference in our lives and in our communities. Their footprints remain, and their stories continue to shape us.

Say HELLO to Gary! 💜

If you’ve ever been to Sharon Church, chances are you’ve seen Gary standing at the door ready to greet folks with a smile and a kind word. As one of our greeters, Gary helps make this place feel like home from the first moment people walk in.

Gary is a gentle giant with a sunny spirit and an encouraging heart.
He loves his church, he loves his people, and he’s always ready to support and cheer on others however he can.💜
If worship gets really good…you might just hear an “AMEN!” come ringing out from his pew! 💜

Gary is a faithful friend, a supporter of both Sharon Church and the people within it, and someone who helps fill our space with joy.

If you see Gary this Sunday, make sure you say hello… he will make you smile for sure! 💜

It was a FULL and WONDERFUL day at Sharon Church! 🙌🏻❤️
We celebrated and "sent" one among us who is transferring her membership to a new church in a her new community. 😍
Our monthly fellowship lunch followed Worship with a time to honor our folks with May birthdays. 🥳 AND...right after lunch, our His Kids Director and staff led us in a "Clean Up Day!" 😅

Days like today remind us that church is so much more than just a Sunday morning service. It is worship, fellowship, laughter, service, teamwork, loving one another well, and faithfully serving one another and community.❤️
Our cup overflows!❤️
