Church Family,
Please join us in observing the National Day of Prayer today.

No matter what is happening in our nation, our communities, or our personal lives, we serve a God who still hears and answers prayer.

Today, let’s pause and pray:
• For our families
• For our church
• For our schools and communities
• For our leaders
• For those hurting, struggling, and searching for hope

Prayer is not our last resort — it is our first response.

“if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land” — 2 Chronicles 7:14

Take a few moments today to pray and trust God to move in ways only He can. ❤️

It is Wednesday and we hope you are planning on joining us tonight for our mid-week time of fellowship and worship. We are looking forward to having Pastor Travis lead our Adult Bible Study this evening.

This Saturday, we will be delivering bags and other items to unhoused individuals in Kingsport, and if you would like to participate, please plan on arriving at the church by 10:30 am.

This Sunday, Bro. Derrick Mann from Bancroft Bible will be sharing a sermon during our time of worship, and we hope that our guest is greeted with a full sanctuary of obedient servants ready to receive God's Word.

Good morning church family,

God spoke to my heart this week as He reminded me of something, and I wanted to share with you.

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes…” Romans 1:16

There was nothing quiet about Jesus’ love for us. He did not stay silent when it cost Him everything. He stood before accusers. He endured mockery. He carried a cross. Though He answered little in His defense, His actions spoke louder than words ever could. Calvary was not silence - it was a declaration: “I LOVE YOU.”

Jesus was unashamed to be identified with sinners (with us). He is not ashamed of our weakness, our mess, or our failures. Instead he stretched out His arms, in love, and bore our shame so we could walk in freedom.

“Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before my Father who is in Heaven.” Matthew 10:32

How can we remain silent about Him?

It’s funny because we don’t remain silent about all the things we are passionate about. May we be as unashamed about Jesus as we are about the things we love, because nothing - and no one - has ever loved us more than He has.

The cross reminds us: He was NOT silent for us. May we NOT be silent about Him.

I’m praying, church, that we don’t miss the daily opportunities God gives us to boldly share His love without shame.

Love Pastor Travis
