Paul gives Pastor Timothy 3 examples of professions he can draw understanding from in how to be a better pastor; but ALL Christians can learn from them in order to have a better walk with Christ. ONE VERY TRUE STATEMENT-- JAMES 4:14-..."You don't even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes." Only God knows how many sands we have left in our hourglass-how many "days" are in our "lives"!Therefore we should make the most of each day and always include God in the plans we make. Planning with God is fine, presuming without God is not(James 4:13-17). In that vein I'd like to share something--I don't know who wrote it but "Anonymous" is my favorite author!
I HAVE ONLY JUST A MINUTE--only 60 seconds in it--
FORCED ON ME, can't refuse it
DIDN'T SEEK IT, didn't choose it;
BUT IT'S UP TO ME how i use it;
MUST SUFFER if I lose it;
GIVE ACCOUNT if i abuse it--

JUST A TINY LITTLE MINUTE, but ETERNITY is in it!!

We can all do a better job making our short time here more worthwhile--let's make the most of making today count!!

THINGS HAVE REALLY CHANGED IN THIS WORLD AND IT AIN'T ALL GOOD....saw a video Saturday about a megachurch sermon from Cincinnati Ohio.. this video had a segment about an event the church has called "the Super Bowl of preaching." It showed a promo for the event (a slick promo with football announcers, church members as players,etc.) and it had a scene of a fieldgoal kicker and holder but instead of a football the kicker kicked..A BIBLE. When I grew up the worst heathen on the block would have NEVER kicked the word of God like a football. AND NOW a church does it.My Lord what are we coming to--is nothing sacred? CHECK IT OUT--You Tube-- video"Don't Wait Till It Gets Serious, Before You Get Serious With the Word of God" Bezelt3 channel.

NO DEVOTIONAL TODAY--there is apparently a problem with Some Chromebook users with Chrome browser being able to use Live Producer(camera use on Facebook). I've done all i know to do on this; others all over the country are having the same problem. Will probably have to go to Firefox browser though I'd rather not. One way or another I promise to get back!! Have a blessed day!!
