NEW UPDATE ON KATHY:
Good news!! They don’t think a broncoscopy will be needed. She walked once this morning and PT is walking her again now. PRAISE GOD!!

UPDATE ON KATHY FROM TIM:
Just spoke with Kathy’s surgeon. It appears there is small amount of fluid in the bottom lobes of both lungs and she said a minor infection. They will likely do a bronchoscopy later today. Dr says they caught this early and should be able to knock it out. Kathy had no sleep last night, but is some better. She was actually hungry for first time in 2 weeks!! They are starting to wean her from the impella so that should come out today or tomorrow. Pray she can get some sleep today. I think that would help more than anything right now. Thank for your prayers and checking on her and supporting us both.

URGENT PRAYER REQUEST FOR KATHY:
Kathy has had a tough day today. They have put her back on blood pressure medicine and oxygen. They are taking her down for a CT scan shortly to determine why she isn’t getting the oxygen she needs. PLEASE PRAY HARD FOR KATHY AND TIM AND KEVIN AS THEY FACE THIS LATEST OBSTACLE. PRAY HARD ALSO FOR KATHY’S DOCTORS AND NURSES TO CONTINUE THEIR EXCELLENT CARE OF HER.
OUR CHURCH FAMILY, WE LOVE THAT YOUR PRAYERS ARE ALWAYS HEARD BY THE GREAT PHYSICIAN!!!

KATHY UPDATE FROM TIM:
Kathy is having an exhausting day and needs her rest today. Please try to wait until tomorrow to visit her!!

UPDATE ON KATHY FROM TIM:

Kathy had fluid buildup on her right side, so they reinserted a drain on that side. She was having trouble breathing, but felt immediate relief. She has lost 1.5 liters of fluid already. The Impella will stay in for now. They are going to do an echocardiogram today. Dr Zhao says she can expect to be here another week. On a positive note she is getting stronger and feels a bit better every day. She says to thank everyone and to let them all know that she loves them.

She is still doing good. Hoping she may get rid of some of the drains today. That will make her feel better. She is still weak and needs rest.

UPDATE ON SARAH FROM KAREN LAWSON:
Sarah was able to rest some last night with minimal pain. She gives all the glory to God. Thanks everyone for all the prayers that were said for her. Please continue to pray for her healing and strength.
