Where is your favor line?

Where are you choosing to live less loved… when in reality, you’ve never been loved less by the Father?

So many of us let our circumstances define God’s love for us. Good day, He loves me. Hard season, He doesn’t. But when we measure His love through what we feel or what we’re going through, we end up stuck in a cycle of a distorted view of who He is.

The favor line doesn’t change God’s love. It just blinds us to what’s already true.

So often we live like God’s love is based on how we’re doing, but the truth is we’ve never been loved more or less than we are right now.

Join Us in Welcoming Ray Hayes to the Board!

We are thrilled to officially welcome Ray Hayes to our board of directors. Ray and his wife, Angela, have been cherished members of our CF family for over 12 years, faithfully serving our community as deacons and pouring themselves into the lives of those around them. You may also know Ray from our worship team or have had the joy of joining one of his classes on the Transformed Life. He is an incredible man of deep faith, an inspiring teacher, and a tremendous blessing to so many!

This past spring, Ray stepped into this new role of board leadership, and we could not be more grateful. His steadfast faith, discernment, and genuine love for this community are exactly the qualities that make him such a tremendous gift to this team. We have every confidence that God will continue to work through Ray in powerful ways as he takes on this additional CF role. Please join us in welcoming Ray and celebrating this exciting new chapter for our community.

We also want to take this moment to express our deep gratitude to our entire board for their continued guidance, wisdom, and dedicated oversight. Their servant leadership is a blessing we do not take for granted: David Douthat, Tony Bleckley, Scott Fogle, Mike Lane, and Troy Clark.

May we become people who are awake and aware of God in all things.

Not just in the big moments, but in the ordinary. In conversations, in interruptions, in questions, in mystery. In the places we once overlooked, or didn’t expect Him to be.

Over this series, we’ve been reminded that God is present in every season, even when it looks different, even when we don’t understand it, even in the middle of disappointment, distraction, or the everyday rhythms of life.

So as we close, may we stay present, stay open, and stay aware. Rooted enough to discern, but open enough to be surprised by how He’s still moving.

So, go and live freely, lightly, and aware that God is in all things.

Sometimes our moments with God are bigger than the words we have. It can feel unfamiliar, but it’s not weird, it’s mystery. Not fully understanding, but still being invited to know Him.

It’s easier to choose certainty over mystery. But when we do, faith can become intellectually safe, emotionally restrained, and spiritually predictable.

And if we shut things down just because they perplex us, we risk stopping what God wants to do in our lives.
