The Salvation Army of Greater Kingsport Tennessee The Salvation Army of Greater Kingsport exists to bring hope to our neighbors right here in the Model City. We are fighting for good !

We do this by providing food, shelter, and growth opportunities 365 days a year. The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church. Our message is based on the Bible. Our ministry is motivated by the Love of God. Our mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

Our veterans fought for our freedom. Now, many are fighting battles at home.

From housing insecurity and joblessness to the invisible scars of PTSD, far too many of our nation’s bravest face unexpected hardships after their service.

The Salvation Army stands ready to serve those who served us—providing critical housing stability, job resources, food assistance, and emotional support to veterans in need.
