Monday (06/08/2026) — When Jesus Steps Into Your Ordinary
Scripture: Luke 5:1–3
Focus: Jesus meets people in the midst of their frustration.
Devotional Thought:
Simon wasn’t praying, worshiping, or seeking a miracle. He was simply washing nets after a disappointing night. Yet Jesus stepped into his boat — into his routine, his workplace, his frustration. Christ does not wait for perfect conditions to reveal Himself. He meets us in the middle of exhaustion, discouragement, and “I’m done” moments.
Reflection:
Where do you feel tired or empty today?
Jesus is not avoiding that place — He’s stepping into it.
Prayer:
Lord, meet me in the places where I feel worn out. Turn my ordinary into an opportunity for Your presence.

In Chapter 10 - "The Faithfulness of God" - from the book - "The Attributes of God", A.W. Pink unfolds the unshakeable truth that God is perfectly faithful, utterly trustworthy, unwavering in His promises, and consistent in all His ways. Pink reminds us that God’s faithfulness is not an occasional act but the very essence of His character. Because He cannot lie, change, or fail, believers can anchor their lives in His Word with absolute confidence. This chapter calls us to rest in God’s reliability, trust Him in trials, and worship Him for His steadfast love that never breaks, never bends, and never turns away.

Sunday (05/31/2026)— Jesus Turns One Healing Into Many
Scripture: Luke 4:40 — “People brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness…”
Reflection:
One miracle in one house sparked a movement in the whole community. When Jesus heals you, it’s never just about you — it becomes a testimony that draws others to Him.
Application:
Share one testimony this week — big or small — of how Jesus has touched your life.
Prayer:
Lord, let my life be a witness. Use my story to bring healing and hope to others.

Saturday (05/30/2026) — Jesus Restores Strength for Purpose
Scripture: Luke 4:39 — “She got up at once and began to serve them.”
Reflection:
Healing wasn’t the end — it was the beginning. Jesus restored her strength so she could serve again. True healing doesn’t just make you feel better; it puts you back in your calling.
Application:
Ask God where He wants you to serve with the strength He’s restoring in you.
Prayer:
Father, restore my strength and renew my purpose. Use my healing for Your glory.

Friday (05/29/2026) — Jesus Lifts You Back Up
Scripture: Luke 4:39 — “The fever left her.”
Reflection:
When Jesus speaks, sickness loses its grip. The fever didn’t fade — it left. His authority brings immediate release. What held you yesterday doesn’t have to hold you today.
Application:
Believe that Jesus can bring sudden change. Expect Him to move in ways that surprise you.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the power that breaks every chain. Lift me where I cannot lift myself.

Thursday (05/28/2026) — Jesus Rebukes What’s Been Draining You
Scripture: Luke 4:39 — “He rebuked the fever…”
Reflection:
Jesus didn’t soothe the fever — He rebuked it. He treated it like an intruder. Anything that attacks your wholeness is confronted by His authority. He speaks to sickness, fear, anxiety, trauma, and anything that drains your strength.
Application:
Speak God’s Word over the areas where you feel weak or overwhelmed. His authority is greater than your affliction.

Prayer:
Jesus, rebuke everything that has been draining my strength. Speak Your authority over my life.

Wednesday (05/27/2026) — Jesus Responds When We Call
Scripture: Luke 4:38 — “They asked Jesus to help her.”
Reflection:
Intercession matters. The family brought the need to Jesus, and He responded. Sometimes healing begins with someone else’s prayer, someone else’s faith, someone else’s cry on our behalf.
Application:
Pray for someone who is sick — physically, emotionally, or spiritually. Stand in the gap for them.
Prayer:
Lord, hear my prayer for those who are hurting. Move in their lives as only You can.

Tuesday (05/26/2026) — Jesus Sees What Others Overlook
Scripture: Luke 4:38 — “Simon’s mother‑in‑law was suffering from a high fever.”
Reflection:
Others may have walked past her, but Jesus saw her. He notices the pain people hide. He sees the sickness beneath the smile, the exhaustion behind the routine, the heaviness
behind the “I’m fine.”
Application:
Be honest with Jesus about what’s hurting. He sees you fully and loves you completely.
Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for seeing what others miss. Help me bring my hidden struggles into Your light.
