St. Monica Annual Mardi Gras Fundraiser We are a group of friends and family that come together every year to celebrate Carnival/ Mardi Gras All are welcome to attend and celebrate with us.

The Saint Monica family plans to celebrate the Mardi Gras Season locally for our parishioners and community members, The original purpose of this event was spurred in remembrance of those who were displaced as a result of the devastation felt in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. We continue to strive to encompass an on–going sense of family, lending spiritual support and prayers for everyone who has

been touched by this incredibly tragic event. Our fifth year in existence year, we plan to renew our commitment to the public, by focusing on community fundraiser with our Mardi Gras celebration. We also encourage you to dress in a “festive manner” in accordance with the Mardi Gras tradition. Join us, and your palate will experience delight in authentic Creole and Cajun style dishes. Our extensive menu, which includes selections of Gumbo, Red Beans and Rice, and Jambalaya, will be carefully prepared by our Louisiana natives. Relax, and enjoy your hearty meal, while listening to the soulful sounds of classic Zydeco music.

Our cooks are whipping traditional red beans and rice with juicy chicken tenders. We know weekends can get hectic, so we're offering these hearty, grab-and-go plates to enjoy while catching the big game. Don't worry about dessert - we'll include a sweet treat on us!

New Modular Tables Bring Flexibility and Convenience to St. Monica Catholic Church
The St. Monica Mardi Gras Committee has exciting news! We recently purchased 32 modular tables around the St. Monica Catholic Church campus. These versatile tables will provide more flexibility for various church events and gatherings.

This purchase demonstrates the committee's commitment to improving the parishioner experience. The modular design allows the tables to be arranged in various configurations to accommodate groups of various sizes. Event planners can easily set up spaces ideally suited for anything from small bible studies to large community dinners.

The convenience of adjustable table heights is another crucial benefit. The tables can be raised or lowered with a simple frame twist to accommodate adults, seniors, and children comfortably. The sturdy yet lightweight construction also makes set-up and tear-down a breeze.

As a St. Monica parishioner, you can look forward to enjoying these modular tables at future church events. Be sure to thank the Mardi Gras Committee members for this valuable upgrade to our facilities. Their work will enhance fellowship and community for years to come.
