We are beyond grateful to serve in leadership here at FHC! We are blessed to call one another friends, to laugh together, and to serve Jesus together. ❤️

As Pastor Appreciation Month approaches it’s close we want to thank YOU! We hope you know just how deeply loved each and every one of you is by us, your pastors. We appreciate you putting up with our shenanigans, serving alongside us, and walking this journey of faith with us.

Pastor Appreciation Month 💙
To close out this month, let’s celebrate our newest pastor.

Pastor Christian brings a vibrant spirit, a joyful heart, and a whole lot of love to our church family. His excitement and love for Jesus is contagious, and his enthusiasm for serving alongside our team is a gift to those around him.

This year marked an exciting milestone as he received his ministry license, reflecting his growing commitment to the calling God has placed on his life. With a heart eager to learn, grow, and follow wherever the Lord leads, he reminds us of the beauty of a faith that is always reaching for more of Jesus.

We are grateful for the joy, love, and fresh energy he brings to our church, and we look forward to seeing all that God continues to do through him.

Thank you, Pastor Christian, for serving with such a willing heart and reminding us that following Jesus is an adventure worth being excited about! 💙

Pastor Appreciation Month 💜

Pastor Joanna is as kind as she is clumsy, and she brings a unique blend of compassion, curiosity, and humor to the way she serves our church family.

She loves a good laugh, a deep conversation about faith, and helping people see familiar things in a new light. She has a heart for the people others might overlook, a passion for making the gospel accessible to everyone, and a gift for reminding people that there is a place for them in the body of Christ.

Whether she’s teaching, encouraging, advocating, asking the hard questions, or simply showing up when someone needs a friend, Joanna leads with heart and wants people to know Jesus and experience His love.

We are grateful for her compassion, her honesty, her laughter, and the way she continually challenges us to be a church where everyone is seen, valued, and welcomed.

Pastor Appreciation Month | Pastor Matt 💚

Not everyone who makes a difference stands in the spotlight. Some of the most important ministry happens behind the scenes, through the quiet, faithful people who keep showing up, serving others, and making things happen.

That’s Pastor Matt.

He’s our kids’ pastor, our jack of all trades, our behind-the-scenes systems guy, and the person who is always willing to jump in wherever he’s needed. He works hard, solves problems, builds systems, and helps mobilize others to love and serve people well.

But what makes Matt special isn’t just everything he does. It’s the heart behind it.

He doesn’t serve for recognition. He doesn’t need the applause. He simply shows up, loves people, and faithfully does what God has called him to do.

And so much of what makes our church work happens because of people like him.

Matt, thank you for your faithfulness, your servant’s heart, your willingness to do whatever needs to be done, and the countless ways you love and serve our church family. Even when your work happens behind the scenes, it matters. You matter.
