Let’s be real , faith isn’t always easy.
Some days it feels like you’re barely hanging on.
You’re showing up, praying, believing but you just don't feel it.
You start wondering, “Is it supposed to feel this hard?”

Tonight’s message is for you.
“When Faith Feels Hard” is a word for the tired, the discouraged, the ones who feel like quitting.
We’ll talk about what it means to follow Jesus even when it’s heavy.
Even when you’re not “feeling it.”
Even when it would be easier to walk away.

You don’t need to have it all together.
We want you just as you are and come let God meet you right where you are. 💜

Come sit with us. There’s hope here.

Let’s take a moment and normalize something.
Faith doesn’t always look polished and put together.
Sometimes it looks like tears being cried in moments of brokenness.
At times it's the desperate prayers barely whispered late at night.
Or standing when you’d rather quit and walk away.

Real faith isn’t about pretending.
It’s about pressing in when you want to crumble knowing that God will see you through.

This week at Hope City, we’re creating space for the honest parts of your walk.
The tired places, the questions, the silent cries.

God isn’t looking for perfection. He is looking for surrendered hearts.

So if your faith feels messy right now please know that you’re not failing, you’re growing.

🌟 Let The Light In 🌟

📖 “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” — John 1:5

We live in a city that has known deep darkness pain, poverty, addiction, division, and brokenness. But no matter how thick the shadow, the light of Christ still shines brighter!

John 1:5 reminds us that darkness doesn’t get the final say. The light wins. Always.
And that lives in you!
God doesn’t just want to shine in our city, He wants to shine through you.

Every smile you offer, every meal you share, every prayer you pray, every time you show up with grace when others expect judgment you’re pushing back the darkness. You’re carrying hope into hard places.

So today, don’t hide your light. Don’t underestimate it.
Let the light in and then let it out.
Your city needs what’s inside you.

Jesus, shine through us! Fill every corner of our lives with Your presence. Use us to bring hope, love, and light into places that have felt forgotten. Let Your light lead the way. Amen.

Good morning Hope City family! It’s Wednesday.

Today may be that midweek moment where you might feel caught in the middle of life.
Maybe you're not where you started, but you're also not quite where you hoped you’d be right now.

If that’s you, I get it, you’re not alone!
I've been there. I struggle with this too more often than I'd like to think.

Psalm 34:18 says, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

Today you may feel tired, overlooked, crushed, brokenhearted, stretched thin and many other rough emotions.
I want to remind you just like I have to be reminded that God is still with us in the middle of the hard moments.

He’s in your middle of the week mess.
He’s in your middle of the road prayers.
And He’s holding your heart when you feel like giving up.

So take some time to pause this morning.
Take a deep breath.
And pray.
Let God remind you of His love for you.

Remember that this isn’t the end of your story. It’s the middle of your miracle.

Hope is still rising today.

It Starts With ONE

You don’t need a crowd to start a movement.
You just need one person willing to show up.

One person praying.
One family loving.
One neighbor reaching out.

Revival doesn’t begin in a stadium. It begins in the heart.

So if you're wondering, "What difference can I make?"

Remember, everything starts with one.

One step.
One yes.
One encounter with Jesus.
What is one seed you can plant in the heart of another today to show the love and hope of Jesus?

🔥 Choose to be a spark.
Let’s shift the story of our city together.

When Hope Feels Distant

There are seasons when our hearts feel like dry bones.
We become weary from the weight.
At times we can become numb from the noise.
We feel disconnected from the dreams we once held with such hope.

We still show up, but feel lifeless.
We pray, but feel nothing.
We try to believe, but secretly we wonder if the breakthrough has passed us by.

But the breath of God brings revival!

In Ezekiel 37, The prophet didn't wait for the bones to get stronger before speaking
He spoke to the dry!
He spoke to the brittle and the broken.

Ezekiel spoke life where there had been only death.

Today God still speaks.

The Holy Spirit breathes into what looks empty.
He resurrects what we’ve written off.
He calls us to rise even when we feel unqualified, unskilled, unwanted or undone.

Hope begins again the moment we believe that He still can bring life to dry, dead places.

Right now, right here and in you.

Today we declare:
Even when we feel dry, we are not done.
God is breathing new life into what we may have thought was over.
We choose to believe again.
We RISE. Not in our strength, but through the power of the Holy Spirit.
