Sunflower Faith: Turning Toward Abundant Life
By Minister Aletha Jones

I came that they may have life, and have it more abundantly. If you've just come into the family of God or have been here a while, you realize that the hits just keep on coming—in other words, God’s gift of salvation does not come with the promise of being exempt from trouble, persecution, or failures.

So what is Jesus offering—is it what our human reasoning hopes, is more money, more time, great health, again, no troubles, all the happiness we could possibly have? Well, the first part of that scripture informs us of the enemy’s mission—to kill, steal, and destroy.

The full, abundant life that Jesus calls us to is where God’s goodness will abound so plentiful that trouble can’t diminish it or negate it. The joy of the Lord will intensify His goodness so that we can be planted and rooted by streams of living waters, where our best comes forth at just the right time—due season, and God’s strength, greater than our own human strength, becomes part of our armor.

We now, through Jesus, have a right to the tree of life—TRUE, ABUNDANT, RICH, AND SATISFYING LIFE. So go ahead—BLOOM, right where Jesus planted You! (John 10:10, NLT)

W2W Monday Encouragement

Pruning The Weeds in Times of Need by Ms. Renika Padmore

Romans 12:2 "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."

Sisters we are all called to a perfect separation with Christ Jesus and this can be difficult. But if we are faithful to kill everything daily that does not bring God glory we will flourish.

Be intentional with pruning the garden of your heart that w**ds such as offense, bitterness and judgment to name a few don't dirty our hands. Let us seek to be led by the Holy Spirit that we do not just show, but live the good, pleasing, perfect will of our faithful Father even when no one is looking.

We are peaking on 2027 and new greatness is on the horizon, may we w**d out the dead and make intentional space for fresh new growth and development. If we allow God to show up HE will show out, let's get out of HIS way. Let's renew our minds, sisters.

W2W Monday Encouragement

“Uprooting the Lies and Planting Truth” by Rev. Emily Cooper

But God calls us to break up the hard, fallow places of our hearts and make room for His truth. “Break up your unplowed ground and do not sow among thorns.” — Jeremiah 4:3

This week, as we reflect on the areas of our hearts that have become fallow ground, let us remember that every seed grows in two directions: downward to establish roots and upward to produce fruit.

Some of us have allowed negative seeds—lies, wounds, rejection, fear, or shame—to take root in our hearts. Over time, those seeds have produced fruit that shapes how we see ourselves, God, and others.

Today, my sisters, let us allow God to break up the soil, uproot the lies, and plant His truth deep within us. As His truth takes root, it will begin to grow upward and produce new fruit in our lives—the fruit of knowing, believing, and walking confidently in who we truly are in Christ.

Monday Encouragement

As you step into this new week, remember the invitation God extends in Hosea 10:12: “Break up your fallow ground, for it is time to seek the Lord…”

There are places in our hearts that once bloomed with prayer, joy, and obedience—places full of promise that may have gone quiet under the weight of life. But fallow ground is not forgotten ground. It is potential that is lying dormant.

Today, let God turn over what has settled. Let Him soften what has hardened. Let Him awaken what has gone still.

If God is For Us by Min. Aletha Jones

"What shall we say about such things?" Paul asks in Romans 8:31. Such wonderful things! From the Holy Spirit helping us in our weakness, saying prayers for us and pleading in words that can't be expressed; to God weaving a tapestry of goodness out of all circumstances, good or bad. And Paul's follow-up question is: “If God is for us, who can ever be against us?" That is the question we must all settle in our hearts and minds: that no matter how tough life may get or who refuses to love us; that God's passionate love will sustain us—a love so deep and so wide that He didn’t withhold His best from us—He gave His son,Jesus, for us all! “Can anything separate us from Christ's love?” Shout no in persecution! Shout no in despair, loneliness, poverty, whatever dreadful situation arises—even when sickness threatens us—SHOUT NO! God loves me, loves us, and He makes beauty from thorns! (Explore Romans 8:31-39).

"Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! His faithful love endures forever."

Whether you find yourself walking through the valley or standing on the mountaintop, one truth never changes: God is good, and His love endures forever. Our circumstances may change, our emotions may rise and fall, and the seasons of life may bring both joy and sorrow, but God's character remains the same. He is faithful in the darkness just as He is in the light, present in our pain as well as in our victories. No matter where you are today, let's rest in the unchanging goodness of God and the everlasting love that never fails.
