West Hills Community Church

West Hills Community Church was the vision of Pastor David Streets to reach and serve the community of the West Hills. The first service was held on October 6, 2012 at 11:15am in the Westwood Plaza Theatre & Cafe. At that time, Pastor Dave was serving as co-lead pastor of Emmanuel and the lead pastor of Emmanuel West Campus. The church continued to grow and it was apparent that Emmanuel West neede

d their own full-time pastor to shepherd the people of this community. In January of 2014 Pastor Dave left his position at Emmanuel's Main Campus to become the lead pastor of Emmanuel West. Westmont COB
With space becoming an issue, Emmanuel West decided to branch out and rent space off another local church, The Westmont Church of the Brethren graciously accepted us into their building. The first services were held on August 31, 2014. With this move came the addition of a second full-time position in Jeremy Ferguson the Worship & Technical Director who was serving at Emmanuel as the Technical Director. With the added space Emmanuel West was also able to grow other ministries to families including the addition of a Nursery and a Youth program to their already existing Children's program. In May of 2015, this continued growth led to the addition of a third full-time staff position in Dave Roman, Jr., the Director of Family Ministries. On Our Own. On December 1, 2015, the West Campus officially became a church plant and now operates on its own. The West Campus was incorporated as the West Hills Community Church. In August of 2018, further growth led to Steve Vickroy joining the staff as Associate Pastor. The Next Chapter...
As God has continued to bless us with more people, He has provided a new building for us to better serve the community. The first service in the new building was held on March 27, 2022. Our continued growth led to Adam Roberts joining our staff in January of 2024 as Youth Pastor. If you are new to the West Hills Community Church, Welcome! We are excited to have you join us.
