1) Keep your Bible close at hand. Psalms 119:105, John 1:1; 1 Timothy 2:1
2) Pray for others. Ephesians 6:18, Romans 12:14,
3) Having a Christian community matters. James 5:15, Hebrews 10:24-25
4) God may reveal Himself through other people. Genesis 1:26

Beatrice P is sharing from Matthew 16 . Jesus is instructing His disciples to be ready for miracles, such as the feeding of the thousands. Later He reminds Peter to be more concerned with God’s ways more than the ways of people.
Deny our “fleshy idols” and strive for purity of mind. As student athletes, we need to remind ourselves to see the big team picture over our own selfish expectations.

March Madness ends with Celia speaking about Elijah and the Queen Jezebel. 1 Kings chapter 18.
“Even strong people of faith can have breaking moments.”
The angel of God comes with rest, food, and recovery for Elijah.
Elijah is honest with his struggles.
“Depression and burnout will lie to you. “
God cares for all of you- not just your spiritual self. He cares for you emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
God doesn’t leave people in “caves.”
God meets us there and brings us out.
