Call to Worship
L: For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground;
P: I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.

P: Sing for joy, you heavens, for the Lord has done this;
shout aloud, you earth beneath.

Opening Prayer in Unison
Almighty God, we have gathered to worship, trusting that our praises will glorify You as the God You are. May we hear your voice speak to us in this hour, perhaps anew in our encounter this hour. May the Spirit move us today and always. In so doing may we go forth with confidence and power as we strive to touch others with the same love of Christ our Lord, Amen.

Pastoral Prayer Followed by the Lord’s Prayer
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy Kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
