Let me tell you about this bucket.

This bucket came with the dunk tank and contained 11 balls from the YMCA. Every night the balls were stored in this bucket along with other balls in a blue bucket; then placed under the tables under our tent at the Town Meeting.

Last evening I received a late message that the storm had damaged out tent so I went back downtown to see what I could do about it. When I got there, the flood water was quite high. Doing anything about the tent would need to wait till morning but the staff had rescued some items from under the tent and I put those in my truck after dumping out the water.

I looked across the water and saw this white bucket out in the middle of the flood on its side. I was sure the balls were dispersed through the water and would need to be found after the water receded in the morning.

This morning when I went back down to the dunk tank, the white bucket was still in the same spot, still laying on its side. I walked over expecting an empty bucket, expecting to start searching for balls, but when I picked up the bucket, ALL the balls were still inside the bucket. I was amazed!

The water should have emptied the bucket but, in my opinion, God honored my concern to not lose or destroy other people's property by holding the balls safely in the bucket when nature would have done otherwise. People say there is no God but there would be no other reason for the balls to still be in the bucket.
