Huntington's Disease 😭...
For the past 14+ years our family has experienced this disease affecting my sister-in-law, Vanessa Bingaman😕
Like most diseases it starts out slowly and creeps in making those who are affected by it learn to adjust to a "new normal" lifestyle such as not being able to work, drive, make decisions, take care of the housework or themselves 😞
Caregiver -....💔
For the past 14 + years our family has watched my brother, Barry Bingaman,
Fulfill his vows faithfully "in sickness and in health" And sacrificing a lot for the needs of his precious wife Vanessa!
Barry has tried to do this all on his own, taking on full responsibility of the housework, cooking, cleaning, paying bills, making decisions, along with the added responsibility of Vanessa's personal care 💔 plus being the sole provider!
Barry has a heart of gold!
He wants nothing from nobody and doesn't like to be in the spotlight of all that he does and doesn't talk about it to many people!
Barry has had to make the decision to have someone come in to the home to help with Vanessa's care while he is not able to be there!
With this being said, Barry is not able to get help through his insurance company and has to pay for home care out of pocket!
We all know that times are tough for most of us and we as a family are not expecting much but over the Thanksgiving and Christmas season we thought it would be nice if we could bless Barry and Vanessa with monetary donations or gift cards!
Even a $10 gift card to Sheetz, Green Ridge Country market, Dollar General, Tractor Supply, Boscovs(Vanessa always liked shopping at Boscovs❤️), Walmart or Larry's Pizza in Mifflinburg (again Vanessa loves Larry's 😀) and McDonald's (Vanessa loves her McDonald's hamburgers😂)would be a big blessing and help to Barry!!
*****This is a SURPRISE 🫢 ❤️
All mail can be sent to Rodney and Edith Bingaman @ 12 Stahl Rd Mifflinburg PA 17844 , this is Barry's parents, or if you have Cash app or Venmo and would like to use that option, you can private message Ronda Steen (Barry's sister)
Your thoughts and prayers are appreciated for Barry and Vanessa as they are on this journey!
We as a family will be grateful to all who help us with this Surprise 💯
God Bless Each One❤️

Good afternoon.

SOS” from Bro. Spangler. 😊

I am trying to plan a short notice workday at MOBC for a week from today, Sat the 20th @ 9:00.
Mainly I would like to paint and caulk on the outside of the Tabernacle.

Secondly, if there is enough help I would like to start emptying out the “Old Brown Motel” and perhaps start tearing the porch off so we can get under the building to stabilize it.

Please reach out to me if you are able to join us. 419-563-4014

Thanks so much. 😊

A special report on our MOB camp from our President
Mount of Blessing Camp 2025 “Hither to hath the Lord helped us!” He surely did! This year saw a return of the previous camp president, Rev. Matt Ellison as one of our camp evangelists along with Rev. Dan Stetler, both from Hobe Sound, FL. These men did an excellent job delivering their hearts and presenting truths that were a help and encouragement to us all! A wonderful arrangement of music and singing was provided by the Jeff Self family from Bremen, Ohio! And every service was marked by the Lord’s presence. Justin Ellison faithfully served as youth evangelist and Ricky and Mel Susan did a fantastic job as children’s workers! These were “Mount of Blessing Camp boys” just a few years ago who have now graduated from Bible College and accepted a call to preach the gospel. We were also blessed to have the Lebanon Valley Gospel Band with us again on the first Sunday afternoon which is an annual tradition. They did a great job lifting up Jesus with their music. All in all, there were many good clear victories, needs met and hearts touched by the presence of the Lord! Liberty Fireworks, great fellowship, bicycles, corn-hole, volleyball, good clean wholesome fun, Zimmerman’s ice cream, an annual hog roast, the Fourth of July and “Strings around the Fire” help to make Mount of Blessing Camp a thriving family-oriented atmosphere. But most importantly, sensing God’s presence and watching Him move in our services makes MOBC a wonderful place to bring our families for 10 full days of spiritual focus! The decisive victories won around the altar is always the most important aspect of any camp meeting! And this year we were not disappointed – God came! Our hearts were blessed to see children, young people and the not so young settling issues before the Lord. We were reminded once again… at any cost, with all effort, camp meeting is indeed worth it! This year there were 34 RVs on the grounds, the most ever! We were maxed out to full capacity! And will plan once again to increase the number of hook-ups for next year. “Be sure to reserve your spot!” With hardly any pull, the offerings flowed in and overflowed. To God be ALL the glory! There is the goal of $25,000 to be raised during camp, but people gave abundantly beyond to raise almost $39,000! Praise the Lord! Likewise, the monthly pledges came in over the top too. The generous giving by the Mount of Blessing crowd has been truly amazing! Thanks, MOBC family and friends! This year we also received a very generous gift from an outside organization that provided for much needed property improvements. Through this generous donation both the tabernacle and the “Old Brown Motel” are being renovated with all volunteer labor. If you are interested in getting involved in these ongoing renovation projects, please do not hesitate to reach out to Brian Spangler. Our plans are to complete these in their entirety this fall. From our perspective the days of camp meeting are not at all over, in fact some of the best days are still ahead. MOBC plans to continue doing and being what she’s always done and been - a family focused camp where, Holiness is preached, God can freely move, and needs are abundantly supplied! We plan to stay on the same tried and true pathway that was set forth on these precious grounds during that first camp meeting way back in 1947, 78 years ago. Please join with us in praying that God will continue to use Mount of Blessing Camp for the upbuilding of His Kingdom! Next year’s camp dates: June 26 – July 5, 2026.

Evangelists: Rev. James Plank & Rev. Darrell Stetler Sr. Singers: Bro. and Sis. Jerry Glick Youth: Darren Durkee Children’s: Cade and Marrisa Davis NOTE: MOBC always starts the last Friday of June and most often goes over the 4th of July.
