The Church sometimes has a bad habit of elevating talent over the gifts of the Spirit and charisma over spiritual maturity. Ultimately, our spiritual gifts belong to the Spirit who gives them and are for the benefit of the Body.

As a believer, God has called you to serve. It’s not because you’re extraordinary—it’s because He is. Will you lay yourself down, weaknesses and strengths included, to serve Him?
