This week we are starting a new sermon series called The Weird Books of the Bible. Today we explored which Old Testament laws should we follow, and which should we ignore? Join us as we explore the purpose behind these ancient commands and how they point us to Jesus.

As we wrap up our Waypoints series, we’re reminded that spiritual formation was never meant to end in simply observation. Jesus forms us and sends us out to love and serve others.

In Matthew 9–10, Jesus calls His disciples to pray for workers, then sends them out to be the answer to their own prayer.

The harvest is plentiful, the workers are few, and sometimes the person God is sending is you!

Taking the Initiative

Week four of Waypoints explores our value of Taking the Initiative: moving toward others with the grace and intention Jesus has shown us.

Because Jesus moved toward us first, we are called to do the same. What does it look like to take the first step toward others, both within the church and in our community?

If you missed it check it out at the link below.

Got Questions?

We are in week three of our Waypoints sermon series on Rosewood’s values.

Faith isn’t threatened by honest questions. From Jesus asking questions in the temple to Nicodemus and Thomas wrestling with what they believed, we see that curiosity can be part of growing in faith.

Come as you are, bring your questions, and let’s learn to listen with curiosity rather than trying to have all the answers.

There is room for your questions at Rosewood.

Check out this sermon below.

Last night we had a make and mingle night with our Lift (ladies in fellowship together) group. Some brought their own crafts and others made a craft that we provided. We enjoyed just sitting and making things together!

Week Two of Waypoints: Belong & Become

In Luke 19, Jesus chooses relationship and proximity with Zacchaeus before Zacchaeus has changed anything. That belonging becomes part of his transformation.

What if belonging is more than simply being welcomed on a Sunday? What if authentic relationships help us become more like Jesus, and the people who are different from us are exactly who God uses to shape us?

Come discover a community where you can belong while you become.
