Holy Redeemer Parish is a Roman Catholic faith community located in Jenison, Michigan. Founded 1975. Norman Droski as its first pastor. Fr.

Holy Redeemer Parish had its beginning on April 3, 1975 with the appointment of Fr. This was quickly followed by the purchase of approximately 9 acres as a building site. Droski wrote: "I remember driving to the site of the future parish. I could not find it as I passed hayfield after hayfield in the township." The new parish celebrated its first Mass in the Jenison High School auditorium on April 20, 1975, and continued to worship there for three years until the initial part of the church building was completed in 1978. Our Mission Statement:
Nourished by the Sacraments, Sacred Scripture and Holy Traditions, we are called to love, forgive, and be merciful.

Happy birthday this month to Father Victor!

Normally staff celebrates by going out to lunch. This month, we did that and added in bowling, as requested by Father Victor himself!

He commented many times today how fun bowling was; he hadn’t been since college. There was lots of cheering for one another and numerous bouts of laughter! Father finished by stating it was the best birthday he ever had!

The CSA collection began in spring. So why are we still talking about it? Because it is designed to be a shared, collaborative effort rather than a single parish’s own budget, the collection process often spans months rather than a single day. In addition, we have NOT met our goal. If a parish’s goal is not met, the parish must make up the shortfall.

As of October 13, we have received pledges from 444 (43%) of our 1,023 households totaling $221,014 (90%) of our CSA Goal of $245,461. You can also make your pledge online at GRdiocese.or g/CSA.

Contact the diocesan Finance Office at 616-475-1253 to arrange a gift using stock, IRA QCD, DAF or other charitable vehicles to maximize your giving.

God has always called His people to be generous with their time, resources, and abilities to build His Kingdom. It is not about donating a certain amount but about living a life, as David did, where we can say confidently in the end, “I have provided for the house of my God, so far as I was able.” 1 Chronicles 29:2

Thank you for your generosity!
