Dear Friends and Neighbors,
We could use your help! For well over a year now, we’ve been finding golf balls in our landscaping and on various parts of our lawn. Because we’re not staffed 24/7, we haven’t been able to determine where they’re coming from, but logic leads us to believe that someone (or several someones) has been using our front lawn/soccer fields as a driving range.
We kindly ask that this stop.
Firstly, the golf balls left behind pose a safety hazard for our mowing crews and the kids and families who use the soccer fields.
Second, we have reason to believe that a stray golf ball damaged our electronic sign earlier this year. An LED panel in the center of the sign was hit with an approximately golf-ball size object, and because there was no damage to the rest of the sign, it likely wasn’t caused by hail or other debris. We assume this was unintentional, but the panel will still need to be completely replaced.
We want to be good stewards of our property, and good hosts for the soccer teams that practice and play here. Please help us do that by using a different space to practice your swing.
