Fork Creek Church Fork Creek Church continues its mission of worship and community service, maintaining its legacy as a cornerstone of faith in the Jefferson area!

Fork Creek United Methodist Church, located in Jefferson, South Carolina, is one of the state's oldest Methodist congregations, with a rich history dating back to the 18th century. Founded in 1784 by Rev. Aaron Knight, the church was originally known as Knight’s Meeting House. In 1792, it adopted the name Fork Creek and has remained at its current location since then. The present building, constructed in 1967, is the fifth on this site, replacing a previous structure destroyed by fire.
