The Goblin 5K is back! 👻

Join St. Martin Catholic School for our **11th Annual Goblin 5K Run & Scavenger Walk** on **Sunday, October 18!** The 5K/Scavenger Walk begins at 3:30pm, followed by aTrunk or Treat and a Costume Contest in the school gym!

🏃‍♀️ 5K registration: $10 for kids under 16 | $20 for adults
🎃 Scavenger Walk registration is FREE!
👕 Register by **October 1** to receive a T-shirt with your 5K registration.
🏆 Awards, prizes, costumes, and plenty of Halloween fun!

A display surrounding the Shroud of Turin will go on display starting Sept. 8 in Cana Hall at the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Jefferson City.
The display, titled "Who is the Man of the Shroud?" is an in-depth exhibit about the 2,000-year-old burial cloth of Jesus Christ.
An opening program will occur 6-8 p.m. Sept. 8 inside the hall at 2305 W. Main St.
The program will feature the Rev. Stephen W. Jones, vicar general of the Diocese of Jefferson City; representatives from Shroud Exhibitors of Central Missouri (SECMO); representatives from Othonia, Inc.; and the Knights of Columbus Honor Guard.
The exhibit encourages seekers of all ages and faiths to encounter the Scriptural, historic and scientific premises that point to the authenticity of the artifact and the reality of the man it reveals, according to a news release from SECMO.
The desire for the Shroud of Turin Traveling Exhibit and Curriculum in Missouri is apparent in the growing interest from seekers as well as people of faith," SECMO President Norbert Plassmeyer said. "To serve that need, we are honored to partner with Othonia and grateful to our generous benefactors and volunteers -- especially the Missouri Knights of Columbus for their commitment to transport and set up the exhibit wherever it needs to go. This effort stands to educate and inspire the uninformed while strengthening the faith of believers for years to come."
Following the opening, the exhibit will be available for viewing 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sept. 9-11, Sept. 13-14 and noon-9 p.m. Sept. 12. Admission is free, but donations are welcome. More information is available at othonia.org.
